博柏利（Burberry）引人注目，擺脫頹勢以超過4%的漲幅領跑指數。 市場猜測最近內部人士開始回購自家股份有關，當日已有董事成員呈報小額申購。 在能源板塊，油價月內上演強彈行情，石油巨頭BP和殼牌分別錄得1.4%和0.8%漲幅。

英國消費者物價指數（CPI）在6月維持在2%水平，連續第二個月表現與英格蘭銀行（BOE）的目標一致。 然而，這一整體資料有潛在擔憂，特別是在服務業，其通脹率仍然居高不下，達到5.7%。
