美國2月零售銷售的按月升幅上修至0.9%。 3月消費者支出保持強勁月升0.7%，大幅高於預期的 0.3%。 

在13項分類中，有8類錄得增長。 線上零售成長2.7%，加油站銷售增長2.1%，其他各種零售商的銷售額增2.1%，建築材料和園藝用品銷售額成長0.7% 。 另外，食品和飲料店增 0.5%。 健康和個人護理商店成長 0.4%，食品服務和飲酒場所亦同。 

相較之下，體育用品、業餘愛好、樂器和書店等行業下降1.8%，服飾減1.6%，電子和電器下滑1.2%，百貨公司減1.1%，汽車銷售減0.9%。家具減0.3%。 當剔除食品服務、汽車經銷、建材和加油站項目後，對GDP貢獻的核心零售銷售大幅增加1.1%。
