半導体株は大きな影響を受け、人工知能のリーダーである米エヌビディアは10％近く暴落し、フィラデルフィア半導体指数は8％下落した。ハーバー・キャピタル・アドバイザーズのポートフォリオ・マネジャー、ジェイソン・アロンゾ氏は、投資家は株式市場の下落にもかかわらずハイテク株を見放すことはないだろう、特にボラティリティが安値で買う機会を与えるの場合はなおさらだ、と述べた。
