此外，该行上调经济成长预测，但下修通胀估值。 预计利率将降至 3.75%，经济在第一季成长 0.4%，第二季成长 0.2%，但需求面可能会落后于供给，造成延滞效果。 地缘政治带来潜在风险，但消费者物价指数预期很快将稳定在 2% 的目标附近。 货币政策委员会重申紧缩货币政策的重要性，须确保通胀可回稳到2%，以数据主导政策方向。 

（英国利率历史水平） 

周四，英格兰银行行长贝利表示，“我们可能需要在未来几个季度调降银行利率，并适度放宽货币政策，力度可能比目前市场共识更大。” 于官方暗示减息后，富时100 指数收在8,381.35 点的历史新高。 建筑开发商等对利率敏感的行业产生正面发酵，协助收复早盘跌势。  

军火航太公司 BAE Systems 股价上涨 0.8%，因地缘紧张有利销售，维持全年成长指引。 同样地，工程公司 IMI Plc 维持增长财测。 不过，投资控股公司 3i Group 宣布 2024 财年每股资产净值略低于预期，并表示对前景持谨慎态度，股价下跌逾 3%。 另外，汇丰银行未公告最新股息，股价下跌 4%。 英镑/美元在利率决议后，微跌至1.25下方。
