2024年2月美国个人消费支出物价指数（PCE）月增0.3%，幅度低于1月上修的0.4%，亦小于估值0.4%。 服务价格上涨0.3%，商品价格上升0.5%。 年成长率从2.4%微升至2.5%，是2021年2月以来的最低水准。  

同时，核心PCE通胀月率（排除食品和能源），美联储偏好之通膨指标，从1月上调的0.5%放缓至0.3%，与预期相符。  

其中，食品价格上涨0.1%，能源价格飙涨2.3%。 最后，核心PCE通胀年率从2.9%缓降至2.8%，为约三年来的最低水准。

美联储主席鲍威尔在旧金山联邦储备银行发表演说时表示，2月的PCE通胀数据符合美联储期待，是一个积极正面的进展。 最近的数据可能达不到去年的表现，但这并不会迫使美联储急于降息。 耐心是关键，因美联储更愿意等待确定性再行动。 鲍威尔主席阐述，虽然通胀下滑是预估主要情景的一部分，但如果这种情况不能实现，那么长期维持利率水准的意愿也将摆在桌上。
